Dr. Shashita R. Inamdar is a licensed physician and psychiatrist practicing in the San Diego area. Dr. Inamdar is licensed and certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology as well as the American Board of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and recieved her medical degree from the Baroda Medical College in 1992. In 2005 Dr. Inamdar received her PhD from the University of Southern California School of Medicine and has since went on to become a member of the American Medical Association as well as the American Psychiatric Association. Currently the Medical Director at the Center for Discovery, member of the Clinical Faculty at the UCSD School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Adjunct Clinical Faculty, the Department of Family Practice, and the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Inamdar’s list of accomplishments, memberships, and leading positions is extensive.

Dr. Shashita R. Inamdar specializes in Child, Adolescent, & Adult Psychiatry with a focus on treating mental health, substance abuse, and eating disorders through a combination of various treatments. Dr. Inamdar is known for her combination of a psychotherapeutic approach to treatment with the careful and limited use of medications, only when prescriptions are needed. Dr. Inamdar has over 20 years of expertise experience and is proud to serve the San Diego area.
