Dr. Richard Perlman received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. He then completed a Surgery internship at Bellevue Hospital Center. Dr. Perlman completed an Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the Hospital for Joint Diseases. He also completed an Orthopaedic Surgery fellowship at Joseph Boyes Foundation Orthopedic Hospital.

Dr. Perlman specializes in Orthopaedic Surgery. He focuses on the treatment of patients with hand and upper extremity problems. Dr. Perlman’s extensive training allows him to provide advanced technology, updated protocols, and unique preventative measures to treat hand injuries. He provides individualized care to all of his patients to increase range of motion, alleviate pain, and enhance functionality. Dr. Perlman is on medical staff at Scripps Mercy Hospital.

Dr. Perlman has over 50 years of medical experience, and he is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is currently welcoming new patients.
